Defects and incomplete shipments

1.What should I do?

You report the defective or incomplete product to ‘Scholtens Werkplaats’. You can do this by sending an email to
N.B! A number of manufacturers provide a return service and warranty service themselves, for which you can contact them directly. Please read the information with your product or inquire at our sales department!

2. What is the next step?

After receiving your e-mail we will process your request. We strive to email you a form with the return number (RMA) no later than the next working day. You can then return the product. The RMA number form is valid for 14 days.

3. What do I have to consider when returning?

It is very important that you return the product complete, in the undamaged original packaging. The product must be carefully and properly packed for transport. Unless otherwise stated, a printed copy of the return confirmation must be sent to you by fax or e-mail by ‘Scholtens Werkplaats’.

If the above conditions are not met, the warranty expires. If the product is carelessly packed, costs for repackaging and repair can be charged. If the error is on our side (incomplete article or not working on receipt), the articles can be sent free of charge. In other cases, the costs for shipping are for your account. You are then responsible for any damage or loss during transport to our warehouse. This cannot be recovered from our transport insurance.

4. What happens if I have returned the product?

Depending on the reason for return, you will receive full or partial credit for the product invoice within 10 working days (after product arrival).
