  • Finding the right chairs for small and larger organizations. Chairs that fit your company and your budget.
  • Adjustment – next to the chair – of the rest of the workplace.

Ergonomic

Ergonomics has become a marketing term that is used for everything, but what does it actually mean?

It means that when you design something, you keep in mind that it will be used by people. That you ensure that it is safe, does not endanger health, but also that it is comfortable to use. With this you hope to have a positive influence on someone’s productivity. Therefore, the term ‘ergonomic’ is usually used in relation to the workplace. However, it does not mean that an ‘ergonomic product’ is by definition of good quality or that an ‘ergonomic product’ is always suitable for you.

A chair in which everyone fits a little bit is not comfortable for anyone.”

In particular, ergonomic guidelines such as the NPR1813 can sometimes be misleading. It is no more than a list of sizes and adjustment options that a chair must meet, so that the ‘average person’ fits into it. It says nothing more about the comfort of the chair and if you do not meet the size of the ‘average person, then this guideline excludes you. A chair in which everyone fits a little bit is not comfortable for anyone.
